Step 2: Eliminate the current problem by applying special bait and/or traps to the interior of the residence or business

Using bait and/or traps is much safer for our clients because it virtually eliminates their exposure to harmful chemicals. Liquid chemicals will only be used inside a home or business when treating for spiders or an extreme infestation of other types of crawling insects. BARRIER Pest & Wildlife Control uses ONLY the safest and most effective chemicals available.

Step 3: Apply physical barriers around the residence/business

Physical barriers are used to seal possible pest entry points. Common physical barriers include

  • Expandable Foam
  • Screen
  • Caulk

Chemicals are applied to the exterior of the home or business as reinforcement to the physical barriers previously applied. This provides a double layer of protection around your home or business from unwanted pests. Only the safest and most effective chemicals are used.

Step 5: Maintain the BARRIER through regular maintenance of exterior barriers and replenishing interior baits.

Maintenance is the MOST IMPORTANT step in the prevention of pest control problems. All residential pest control treatments by BARRIER Pest & Wildlife Control come with a 90-day guarantee following the treatment*. Therefore, regular quarterly treatment is recommended in the prevention of pest problems from your residence. BARRIER Pest & Wildlife Control also provides 30-day & 90-day guarantees for businesses depending on the type of business/facility treated. Prevention of pests can only be guaranteed through regular monthly or quarterly pest control maintenance.
